Barnet, London

The client brief was to improve his rear and front gardens which had been not maintained for some time and create an entertaining space with BBQ facilities for informal gatherings.

Our scope of works included creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing space while improving the views from the house with two focal points and using techniques to trick the eye into believing a space is much larger than it is. In our design, a larger circle in the foreground and a smaller circle in the background have been proposed to emphasize the perspective, convincing the viewer the garden is larger and deeper.

A new planting scheme has been proposed to create year around interesting perennials and shrub planting in the garden.
